J&M AUDIO INTEGRATION MODULE
This component terminal will integrate the audio signals from a cell phone, GPS and/or radar detector with the driver's (only) helmet headset.
If the cell phone normally rings out of its hands-free headset jack, or emits any other beeps or tones, it will momentarily be heard in the left headset speaker. A flip of the supplied control switch activates complete connection of the driver's headset to the cell phone for complete hands-free operation.
If the radar detector or GPS unit emit any commands, beeps or braps, regardless of what else might be being heard in the headset, they will momentarily be heard in the right speaker.

The "Inline Power Noise Filter" is designed to remove AC ripple. Generally, they are not very effective by themselves, but have shown to improve the effectiveness of our "Ground Loop Isolators." EC Ground Loop Isolator
The "Ground Loop Isolator" is designed to remove hiss and alternator whine from the audio signal. This is the unit we usually recommend. It is available in 2 ways: either a "GL1800 Direct Connect" that plugs into the OEM wiring harness eliminating one cable or with 3.5mm connectors on each end (one male and one female). They generally require no adaptors. We have a 6 foot extension cable available that will plug into most Satellite Radio units with the highly desired Right Angle Male Plug.

J&M GROUND LOOP ISOLATOR FOR GL1800
Use this handy audio ground loop isolator to remove alternator whine from the GL-1800 audio system, that is most often caused by an AUX music source that has also been connected to the GL’s electrical system power accessory circuit. (satellite radio receiver plugged into the aux input is but one example of this condition) J&M’s Isolator adapter cable simply plugs in series between the Honda aux input plug under the left fairing pocket and the Honda accessory aux input cable, included with all GL-1800s.
